Are You A Food Blogger? Let Me Link You.

This picture has nothing to do with this post. It just makes me want a raspberry.

I learn something new about food from fellow bloggers every week--a restaurant to try, a recipe to cook, a drink to make, the knowledge that I'm not alone in polenta frustration.

I know it's considered horribly uncouth to email another blogger and ask them to link to you. And I know that some foodbloggers complain that they are drowning in rude request for links--the nerve of the newbies. My philosophy? The more, the merrier, and if I don't already know about your blog, please tell me. If you'll forgive the metaphor, foodblogs are a never-ending smorgasbord -- I like to taste a little of as many blogs as possible, and almost every one I've tried has at least a yummy morsel or two.

So--if you blog about food in LA or beyond and you're not on my blogroll to the right, let me know. Post a comment or shoot me an email erinskitchen [at] gmail [dot] com with the name of your blog and a link, and I'll add you. Don't have a blog or you're already on there? Then share one of your favorites that's not on my list, and I can add that too. Extra bonus points for blogs from my soon-to-be home, New York City.

What a great attitude! I agree -- it's amazing how many great blogs are started practically every day, and I love sampling them. I recently started using Google Reader, and go through a mind-boggling number of blogs every, um, hour :) I try to click through, though, mostly to encourage new bloggers who keep track of every new visitor -- I remember what that was like!

My favorite new and new-to-me finds are:

It is great to see the variety out there, I am always finding new and great ideas, attitudes, or visiting places or doing things I might not otherwise have the opportunity to! I will add you as a link and please feel free to link to me at http://play-with-food.blogspot.com.

Yes, that's a great attitude!

I'm from Switzerland and I blog about food, so if you are willing to link me, I'd be pleased to do the same with your blog!

Thanks!

I just cannot get enough of food blogs. You would think a carrot is a carrot but it can be glazed, grilled, mashed etc etc. It goes on and on. I love to blog about foods from my culture and around the world. I mix it with a twist of this and a sqeeze of that. I would love to be added to your list. www.banuskitchen.blogspot.com Best Wishes and don't forget to clean your plate! Banu

I am a new food blogger and I am learning and paging through the net almost every night looking for other food blogs. I wanted to say that I really like yours so far, and your eye with the camera is great. I don't have time to post every day because I am a full time mom and a full tiem student but I try at least once a week. ok enough about me my blog is http://fruitcakeornuts.blogspot.com however I got some advice from another blogger and she told me blogs are also about the story and to add a little more story to my posts. ok well thank and I am off to look at the rest of your blog.
